Pornstar in Politics? Empty Pornstar in Politics?

    Porn star in politics?

Is this true? A porn star plans on running for senate? According to CNN headline news Stormy Daniels, a twenty-nine year old adult movie star states she may run for a position in the Louisiana senate in 2010. The young so-called actress is planning on going to tour of Louisiana to listen and talk about current issues. If you ask me if she doesn’t know our current issues she does not need to be running for a political position. This is totally ridiculous! I cannot even believe the thought even went through her brain. Her opponent would be the current Senator, David Vitter, who, according to CNN, has a campaign fund worth over two million dollars, and does not practice fair politics. He allegedly was caught with an escort service’s phone number in his phone in 2007. I believe most politicians are dirty, but most of the hide their bad behavior. On a positive not if this porn star was to win she would be the first to air all her dirty laundry out the window, but I don see a chance at office in her future. Let’s see we already have an ex-pro wrestler in politics, a famous bodybuilder/actor in office, not to mention our first black president, so is it possible that we will have porn stars making laws? Are people sick of the way politics have been? Are we possibly on the verge of a new wave of politics? Maybe, but I would never in a million years vote for someone who lacks dignity and self respect, which is how I view people who have sex for money. If you ask me a porn star is nothing but a legal prostitute. And I don’t think prostitutes belong in politics.

Pornstar in Politics? Empty porn star politics

I don’t think that I would vote for a porn star to be in the Senate. I don’t really think that this girl expects to be voted in either. It sounds like some sort of publicity stunt to me. If she does run some day her “bad behavior” will surely be brought up and no one will really take her seriously. I think that it would be nice to see more soccer moms and maybe someone like “Joe the plumber” running for office. We need people that know what it’s like to struggle. They say that Joe the plumber owed back taxes. Maybe he couldn’t pay them. People are getting evicted from their homes because of an inability to pay taxes and then are sold for pennies on the dollar so the rich can get richer. It’s just not right. We also need people with a passion to help others that are not greedy for power, money, or recognition (like this porn star).

Pornstar in Politics? Empty Response to PIP

I wouldn't vote for a porn star for any form of government office. It’s sad to say that she won't be able to hide from her past decisions. If she was serious about being a politician then she probably should have thought of that before she got naked for money. Not only will she not be taken serious as a political figure, but she must not have very good morals. The choice that you make (good or bad) will come back to help you or hurt you in the future. I guess she should have thought more about that concept when she decided that money was more important then her image as a woman. If she did by some miracle get into office, I would hate to see how she poses for photos. All kidding aside though, it would make a good story for all the people who have made decisions like the ones that this porn star has made in her life. If she was able to turn her image around and make herself look respectable, then other people in that situation will feel as though it is possible to change. I wouldn’t not vote for her and in no way think that she should win, but I don’t think that I would be upset or mad in any way if she did. It’s her choice if she wants to run, and the choice of the people of Louisiana if they want her to be the figure head of their state.
