An eleven year old boy that is from a farm in Pennnsylvania is accused of killing his dad's girlfriend that was also eight months pregnant. If the boy is tried and convicted he will face life in prison. In Pennsylvania anyone over the age of ten can charged as an adult. The woman's four year old daughter is the one that found her, and she immediately got the attention of some landscapers that were working next door. The boy shot the woman with a youth style 20 gauge shot gun, designed for use by children. Investigators do not believe that it was an accident as of now. The only question that I have is why would you give an 11 year old a gun in the first place. It is stated in the article that most people hear this story and can't even imagine an eleven year old doing something like this. I also can't imagine giving a young boy a gun to use youth or otherwise. This is just teaching your child violent things, which will cause him to have more violent thoughts. If a child at this age is doing things like this, you not only need to look at him and his mental wellness but also what could have caused him to do something like this. What were the parents doing or not doing that would make him even think to want to do something as horrible as this?
