In Pittsburg, Pennsylvania three police officers were killed when they were dispatched to a home for a domestic argument over a urinating dog. A mother had woke up to her son’s dog urinating on her carpet so she woke her son to confront him with this issue which escalated to an argument. She then deiced she was going to call the cops to have him removed from her home. The son did have a warrant for his arrest. Police arrived at the home and was let in by the mother only to be heading into a home where the son approached them with a rifle and had shot and killed three officers. These are the first officers that had died in the line of duty of this police department since 1995. I just think that this story is so unfortunate. These cops who are fighting to help people and to keep somewhat of peace lost their lives over someone getting upset over a dog peeing on the floor. The saying “don’t cry over spilt milk” comes to mind because what’s this world coming to? This is a situation that should have never gotten to this extent.
